Drug intelligence / Profile preview
A combination therapy composed of a PSMA-targeted [In-111] Trillium Compound, which is a radiolabeled peptide conjugate that selectively targets prostate-specific membrane antigen (PSMA) on prostate cancer cells, and PTI-122, a small molecule cytoprotective agent. The PSMA-targeted Trillium Compound is designed for imaging and potentially for radiotherapeutic delivery, utilizing the radioactive isotope indium-111 to visualize and characterize PSMA-expressing tumors in men with metastatic prostate cancer. PTI-122 is co-administered to reduce potential toxicity and enhance safety. This combination is being developed for use in early-phase trials to improve tumor uptake and minimize off-target effects, aiming to inform dosing and optimize future therapeutic use of PSMA-directed radiopharmaceuticals in prostate cancer[1][2][3][5][6][7][8].
